Professional Finished Bassoon Reed

$28.00
sold out

Professional reeds are designed for intermediate through expert bassoonists. These reeds have a dark complex tone, even intonation, and great response. Reedcrest reeds are fit for all styles of playing from orchestral, to chamber music, wind ensemble, and solo playing. It is a priority for Reedcrest to offer reeds that need as little adjustment as possible by the customer. That is why Reedcrest uses Barton Cane products and allows for an extensive aging and finishing process.

The distinctive arrow-head style scrape on these reeds is fundamental in Reedcrest's finishing method. This scrape allows for careful pianissimos, stable fortissimos, and easy articulation.
